A man accused of beating his ex-girlfriend with a hammer at her home in Kirkland was arrested at a bus station in Eugene, Ore.
Members of the U.S. Marshals Service arrested 33-year-old Milord Gelin on Wednesday.
The Seattle Times reported he led them to a parking lot in Cottage Grove, Ore., where they found a car belonging to the woman.
She was attacked as she slept early Tuesday by a man who entered her home through the garage. The victim’s 14-year-old daughter was awakened. Both the girl and the victim identified Gelin as the attacker. The woman was treated at a hospital.
