Mid-Columbia students graduate from colleges across U.S.

• The following Sunnyside students graduated from Dordt College, Sioux Center, Iowa, on May 8.



Renae Visser received a bachelor of arts degree in elementary education. She also has a minor in middle school classroom. She also earned all-conference honors from the Great Plains Athletic Conference for the recently completed 2014-15 season. Visser played 10 rounds of golf this season with an average score of 88.4. She finished 17th at the GPAC Qualifier that included four rounds of golf at four different courses from September through April. She finished in the top 10 in five of the six competitions she golfed in this season and graduated this month after studying elementary education. This is the third time Visser has been named All-GPAC, earning the honor in 2012, 2014 and 2015. In the five year history of the Dordt College women’s golf program Visser is the lone all-conference recipient.

Steven Broersma received a bachelor of arts degree in agriculture: agri-business.

• Melissa Ceroni of Richland received a bachelor of science degree in dietetics from the University of Northern Colorado.

• Robin Coppock of Richland graduated from the University of Evansville, Evansville, Ind., with the degree of bachelor of fine arts. She is majoring in theater.

• 

Sheryl A Shea

received a master’s of business administration, sustainable business degree from Marylhurst University in Marylhurst, Ore.
