Steel beams, block walls going up at new Desert Hills Middle School in Kennewick

Construction crews work Monday on the structural steel beams for the new Desert Hills Middle School on Clodfelter Road in Kennewick. Fowler General Construction in the contractor for the project that is being paid for with an $89.5 million bond passed by voters in February. The relocated middle school campus is expected to open in fall 2016.
