After the recent decision not to charge Officer Ian Birk with the death of the woodcarver in Seattle there were numerous protests. The protesters showed one major flaw. They showed their faith in the police and their decision to use the correct amount of force.
These protesters were complaining the police shot someone when it was not needed. Yet, these same people use force against the police, damage property in front of the police, clear violations of the law. But they know the police typically make the correct decisions about using force and know excessive force will most likely not be used against them, or they would not intentionally put them in that position.
Protesters are showing how much they support and believe in the police by protesting against them.
While they are complaining, they are actually proving the opposite opinion they have.
The police typically use a reasonable amount of force. I am not going to talk about my opinion on this incident, just pointing out the fact the protesters are actually showing their support for the police by protesting against them.
