Both The Evergreen State College, and most recently, South Puget Sound Community College, have presented a program on campus called the "Drag Queens." I can only describe it as degenerate.
It celebrates safe, and non-violent sex as fun and games for all, regardless of age, or marital status. At The Evergreen State College, the program was selected, and paid for, out of student body funds, approved by the Evergreen Student Board, and Evergreen’s board of trustees. This according to information I received from Rep. Sam Hunt, D-Olympia, after contacting him by email. I presume the same, or a similar approval process was followed at SPSCC to get authorization to present the program there.
This freak show, as I understand it from an article in the SPSCC newsletter “The Sounder,” consists of, among similar fare, young women (and young men, as well, I imagine) as seen in a picture that accompanies the article, tossing rings in an attempt to circle two giant male dildos. Also in the picture are two of the “Drag Queens” dressed in outfits mocking the habits worn by Roman Catholic nuns.
It would be interesting to me to know, as a parent, or as a citizen of the state of Washington, if the majority of us consider this to be a normal and appropriate part of education in our state’s public higher education system?
Is this what we’re paying our taxes for? If so, I believe the morality of our culture has undoubtedly hit a new low.
