Letters to the Editor

Catapillered road work saves lives, maybe yours

I am sure letter-writer Meyer is a very knowledgeable person, never had a problem on the road and follows all the rules and regulations covering safe driving. However, have you seen an 18-wheeler or a pick-up or a car drift off the road or cross the center line?

The catapillered work on the road is to let the driver know he is drifting. Yes, it costs money to do this, but it also saves lives. Maybe even your own. So don’t knock the county. Be glad they do these things.
