Listen up, folks. Measles is not a killer disease but a rather benign childhood illness. What we are experiencing currently is not an epidemic. One hundred and twenty cases of measles in 17 states so far this year , hardly epidemic status. Some more numbers: The Center for Disease Control reports no recorded deaths from measles in the last 10 years and in that same time period 108 deaths from the measles vaccination! Meanwhile, we have reputable physicians, Dr. Susan Humphries, M.D. and Dr. Meryl Nass M.D., reporting that vaccines are controversial, that their efficacy is questionable and does not warrant the risk. They say there have been thousands of side-effect problems from mild to serious to deaths. Vaccinations are not a scientific miracle, they are inconclusive at least and dangerous at most.
If in doubt about vaccinating your child, read the pharmaceutical insert before deciding as it clearly lists side effects and dangers. Another aspect of this quagmire is that people who have received the vaccine can still carry and pass on the disease. Furthermore,Center for Disease Control Dr. William Thompson admits that he was instructed by his superiors to falsify research outcomes on vaccines, in order to hide a connection with autism. This measles scare appears to be more of a business model that serves the pharmaceutical companies than a true concern for our children. I seriously question why we should give up the freedom to choose or decline a vaccination.
