Another vote to retain Olympia Harbor Patrol

In 2013 Olympia voters voted to raise a sales tax for use of increased protection through the police department and public safety programs. Now the Olympia City Council tells us that there is no money for the Harbor Patrol (although it is primarily run by volunteers). We all know that security and vigilance are crucial at this time in our country – and the City Council has chosen to disregard the voters and their requested use of this tax money.

Shame on you City Council members. And by the way, where is the money?
