What: Take your bike to the park and pick a ride of five, 31 or 62 miles. Depending on which of the longer rides you take, you will wind through the park over the Tacoma Narrows Bridge and tour Gig Harbor. There are also motorcyle, run and walking events.
When: Saturday, various event starting times are staggered between 7 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.
Where: Owen Beach, Point Defiance Park, Tacoma
Activities: The starting area will have a pancake breakfast at 6:30 a.m. as well as live music and inflatable toys for children.

Getting there: From Highway 16, take Pearl Street north to Point Defiance State Park. Follow the signs to Owen Beach.
Cost: $15-$35 depending on the event.
Of note: The course closes at 2 p.m. Proceeds from the ride go to Care Net Pregnancy Centers. The centers provide free services to pregnant women including counseling, ultrasounds, nutrition advice and other services. Registration only is available on the morning of the event. Organizers hope to raise $150,000 to purchase five new ultrasound machines.
