Today and Saturday: Evening razor clam digs are scheduled at Twin Harbors, Copalis, Mocrocks, Long Beach and Kalaloch. The best digging begins an hour or two before low tide.
Low tides are at 8:04 p.m. today and 8:51 p.m. Saturday. All diggers 15 and older must have shellfish license, and each digger is limited to the first 15 clams dug.
All weekend: Crabbing is still open through Jan. 2 in Marine Area 13.
All weekend: Fishing and hunting licenses don’t expire until April 2010, but now is a good time to buy a license as a holiday gift. Every angler, clammer, crabber and hunter must have a license, and it’s easy to buy a license that is good from April 2010 through April 2011 right now. Licenses can be purchased online at fishhunt.dfw.wa.gov or by telephone at 360-902-2464.
