Briefings and public hearings on big game hunting seasons and regulations will dominate the second day of the state Fish and Wildlife Commission’s meetings Friday and Saturday.
Hunting discussions Saturday will include spring black bear, moose, bighorn sheep, mountain goats, deer and elk.
On Friday, the commission is expected to vote on the Puget Sound crab management regulations previewed at its January meeting. The commission also will hold a public hearing on Puget Sound clam and oyster seasons that day, as well as review the 2011 salmon forecasts.
The meeting will be held at the Spokane Convention Center. For more information, go to www.wdfw.wa.gov/commission/meetings.html.
