LACEY - The Northwest Christian girls team couldn't cool off Raymond's hot shooting hand in a 47-43 loss Wednesday.
Raymond made 21 of 36 shots from the field - 58.3 percent.
"Raymond shot the ball very well, but in the second half, we played really good defense and got back in the game," Northwest Christian coach Ron Collins said. "We just had a couple too many turnovers to win the game."
Lindsey Wagner had 11 points and 12 rebounds, her 11th double-double this season for the Navigators. Kathleen Post led Northwest Christian (8-8, 3-8 Pacific 2B League) with 15 points.
