Herb Pope had 19 points and nine rebounds to lead the Pirates to their biggest win in four years. Jeff Robinson, who scored 15 points, hit two clutch free throws with 12 seconds remaining to lift Seton Hall (12-6, 3-4 Big East), which won despite leading scorer Jeremy Hazell playing only 16 minutes because of foul trouble and scoring nine points.

Ashton Gibbs scored 23 points, hitting all of his 14 of his free throws, to lead the Panthers (15-4, 5-2), but he missed two tying 3-point attempts in the final 5 seconds.

At No. 18 Wisconsin 79, Penn State 71 (OT): Jordan Taylor scored the last eight points of regulation to tie the game, then scored 10 more in overtime to lead the Badgers (16-4, 6-2 Big Ten) back from a 16-point deficit to a victory over the Nittany Lions (8-11, 0-7).

At Florida State 68, No. 19 Georgia Tech 66: Chris Singleton scored a career-high 23 points and Solomon Alabi made two go-ahead free throws with 22.8 seconds remaining to give the Seminoles (15-4, 3-2 ACC) an upset victory over the Yellow Jackets (14-5, 3-3)

No. 20 Northern Iowa 67, at Indiana State 58: Kerwin Dunham’s career-high 14 points helped the Panthers (17-2, 8-1 Missouri Valley) rebound from their first conference loss with a win over the Sycamores (11-9, 3-6).
