Russell Wilson is in China.
Where isn’t Russell Wilson?
As usual, the franchise quarterback and socialite is making the most of his summer before Seahawks training camp begins in less than two weeks. After delivering Father’s Day gifts of Braun razors to Seattle’s Children’s Hospital in June, after appearing again at ESPN’s ESPY awards show in California this month as a presenter...
...and days after getting slimed with Michael Phelps while hosting the television network Nickelodeon’s Kids Choice Awards for another year...
...Wilson is in Shanghai.
He’s leading a “Make Em Miss” Nike football camp for kids.
“Good job! Good job!” the microphoned Wilson says while jogging down a turfed soccer field and across a Nike logo with kids wearing his blue, number-three Seahawks jersey.
After high-fiving a camper, Seattle’s QB says: “You guys are warmer now. Time to play some football!”
Wilson has said he is interested in perhaps taking his quarterback camps global, to China. Shanghai, with more than 24.1 million residents, would be a prime overseas market for him to tap.
Wilson and his teammates are due back in this part of the world to report to training camp July 29 at Seahawks headquarters in Renton. Their first camp practice is July 30.
