Drake May Have Just Trolled Caleb Williams During ‘Iceman' Album Rollout

Last month, Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams filed for the trademark “Iceman” after earning the nickname throughout his magical 2025 NFL season.

Hall of Fame San Antonio Spurs legend George Gervin publicly challenged Williams on it, telling Patrick Finley of the Chicago Sun-Times, “He's already proved greatness, and his potential upside is great. Like an ‘Iceman.' But that name is taken. […] All I'm saying is: Young fella, we've already got one ‘Iceman.'”

Earlier this month, Williams addressed it with Front Office Sports.

“I didn’t know; my dad probably knows [Gervin’s] nickname was that,” Williams said. “It’s not between me and George or anything like that, it’s more or less people making clothing or people making things like that, and I can’t control what people are making of me.”

Williams added, “At first, I didn’t per se like the nickname. I thought there was cooler nicknames, and then it all kind of came together. My teammates gave me the name. […] I just kind of let it fester and let it become what it is now, and I’ve actually earned a liking of the name.”

Now that that’s been put to bed, Williams has to deal with Drake.

On Monday, the Green Bay Packers posted Instagram photos showing Drake wearing a Packers jacket and standing in front of the massive structure of ice blocks he’s using to promote his forthcoming album entitled “Iceman.”

That doesn’t seem like a coincidence.

Of course, the Bears and Packers have been bitter rivals for over a century, so it makes sense that the Packers took this opportunity to troll Williams.

Unfortunately for Green Bay, Williams still has the last laugh, as he and the Bears got the better of the Packers twice last season.

First, Williams launched a 46-yard game-winning touchdown to beat the Packers 22-16 in overtime on Dec. 20.

Then, Green Bay blew a 21-3 halftime lead and lost 31-27 to the Bears in the NFC Wild Card. Williams wore a cheese grater hat and grated a block of cheese on live television after the Bears ended the Packers’ season.

Drake can claim “Iceman” in the music world, but Caleb “Iceman” Williams rules over the Packers until they can beat him.
