Watch: Barack Obama faces Larry David in 'Pursuit of Unhappiness'

May 7 (UPI) -- HBO released a teaser trailer for Life, Larry and the Pursuit of Unhapiness: An Almost History of America on Thursday. The series premieres June 26 at 9 p.m. EDT.

Executive Producer Barack Obama introduces the series and his struggles working with Larry David. David enters and asks Obama to be his emergency contact, aiming for preferential treatment if he's ever in the hospital.

"Don't you know other people who like you?" Obama asks David. Larry admits the answer is no.

The series began as a celebration of America's 250th anniversary. HBO promised additional Curb Your Enthusiasm cast members and other surprise guest stars.

"I have sat across the table from some of the world's most difficult leaders," Obama says. "Nothing has prepared me for working with Larry David."
