Sex offenders register as transients in Thurston County
Four sex offenders recently registered as transients in Thurston County, according to the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office.
Darren J. Richardson, 31, is a Level II sex offender. He pleaded guilty in 2007 in Thurston County Superior Court to one count of sexual exploitation of a minor after Richardson, then 18, sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl. He also pleaded guilty in 2006 in Thurston County Juvenile Court to one count of fourth-degree assault with sexual motivation after Richardson, then 17, sexually assaulted a 16-year-old girl.
Richardson is described as a white man, 6 feet tall, 165 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes.
Lacinda R. Gadbaw, 53, is a Level I sex offender. She pleaded guilty in 2012 in Lewis County Superior Court to one count of first-degree child molestation/domestic violence after she sexually assaulted a 6-year-old girl.
Gadbaw is described as a white woman, 5 feet 4 inches tall, 160 pounds, with gray hair and hazel eyes.
Rick D. VanOrsdol, 58, is a Level I sex offender. He pleaded guilty in 2015 in Thurston County Superior Court to one count of second-degree child molestation after he sexually assaulted a 12-year-old girl.
VanOrsdol is described as a white man, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 156 pounds, with gray hair and hazel eyes.
Shawn D. Hamilton, 23, is a Level II sex offender. He pleaded guilty in March in Thurston County Superior Court to one count of possession of depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct, second degree, after he was found in possession of images of young girls engaging in sexually explicit conduct.
Hamilton is described as a white man, 6 feet tall, 200 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.
