Lacey South Sound Chamber seeks new executive director
The Lacey South Sound Chamber of Commerce is in the market for a new executive director after current director Stephanie Hemphill announced she has accepted a job with the Association of Washington Business.
She will leave the chamber in mid-June, according to a news release.
“I’m proud of what Stephanie has been able to accomplish in her time with the Chamber,” Chamber President Madelin White said in a statement.
Membership, sponsorship dollars and event participation all grew during Hemphill’s tenure. She was hired a little over a year ago.
In that time, the number of Chamber members grew to 440 from 298, Hemphill recently told The Olympian.
The Chamber’s executive board currently is developing a succession plan, according to the news release.
