Pedestrian, hit by vehicle in downtown Olympia, is flown to Harborview Medical Center
Two people were injured in downtown Olympia about 6:30 p.m. Thursday after they were apparently struck by a vehicle on Fourth Avenue at Columbia Street, according to the Olympia Police Department.
One person was flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with life-threatening injuries, while the other was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
Olympia police said that Fourth Avenue would be closed for a few hours.
