What Happened Between Jey Uso and Cam'ron Before WrestleMania 42?

Jey Uso has been clashing with more people than just CM Punk lately.

The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion was a guest on It Is What It Is, the sports and culture podcast co-hosted by Cam'ron, earlier this week-and the conversation quickly turned tense.

From the start, there was a noticeable edge. Jey Uso picked up on it almost immediately, asking if they were "good"-a subtle way of checking where things stood.

What Happened Between Jey Uso and Cam'ron?

The moment escalated when one of the co-hosts asked Jey where he ranks within the Samoan wrestling family.

Jey began to answer, acknowledging he wouldn't place himself above Roman Reigns-but before he could finish, Cam'ron cut him off with a blunt response:

"Yeah, yeah, 'cause you not."

That interruption shifted the tone. Jey's demeanor changed noticeably, showing the same intense edge fans have seen in recent WWE appearances.

Cam'ron then pressed further, asking whether anyone had ever "tried" him in public. Jey, now clearly locked in, responded calmly but firmly:

"Yeah, they have, Uce."

Shortly after, a clip from the exchange began circulating online, turning the moment into a viral talking point just days before WrestleMania 42.

Who Is Cam'ron?

Cam'ron, co-host of It Is What It Is, went viral this week after a tense exchange with Jey Uso ahead of WrestleMania 42.
Cam'ron, co-host of It Is What It Is, went viral this week after a tense exchange with Jey Uso ahead of WrestleMania 42.

Cam'ron is a Harlem-born rapper and media personality best known as the frontman of The Diplomats (Dipset), one of the most influential hip-hop collectives of the early 2000s. He rose to prominence with albums like Come Home With Me and hits including "Oh Boy" and "Hey Ma." Today, he co-hosts It Is What It Is, where his candid, often unfiltered takes regularly generate viral moments.

Is the Issue Between Them Real?

Jey Uso recently addressed the viral moment during an appearance on Nightcap with Shannon Sharpe, acknowledging the reaction it generated without fully clarifying whether it was staged.

If Cam'ron shows up at WrestleMania 42, it will confirm what many already suspect: this was a work tied to WrestleMania from the start.
