Stephen Curry Seen at Justin Bieber's Coachella Set After Warriors' Loss

Stephen Curry reclaimed his crown for 48 hours.

On Wednesday, Curry scored 35 points, including the 3-point dagger with 50 seconds left, as the Golden State Warriors completed a 13-point comeback to beat the Los Angeles Clippers in the NBA Play-In Tournament.

“For one night, we’re us,” Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said after the game. “We’re champions again. I know that may sound crazy to everybody out there. It's a play-in game – I don’t care. Just absolutely beautiful to watch.”

With Curry, Kerr, and Draymond Green - and Klay Thompson, who departed for Dallas in 2024 - at the helm, the Warriors won four NBA championships and reigned supreme as the NBA’s modern dynasty.

The nostalgia didn’t last, however, as the Phoenix Suns dismantled Golden State 111-96 in the second Play-In game. The Warriors’ season ended, and reality set in. They had suffered a litany of injuries, including Curry’s “runner’s knee” that cost him 27 games, en route to a disappointing 37-45 record.

Curry didn’t let that ruin his weekend though.

Ayesha Curry, Steph’s wife of nearly 15 years, posted several photos from Coachella to her Instagram Story on Saturday. One post was a selfie of Ayesha and Steph in the Coachella crowd, with the message, “My loverrr.”

Ayesha Curry also posted a video from Justin Bieber singing “ALL I CAN TAKE” to begin his Coachella Weekend 2 headlining set and wrote, “Hailey Bieber’s husband. Iconic.” Hailey Bieber reposted it.

Curry, 38, is under contract with the Warriors through next season, but Green has a player option, and Kerr’s contract has expired now that the season is over.

As time expired in their loss to the Suns, Kerr huddled with Curry and Green on the sideline to tell them, “I don’t know what’s gonna happen next, but I love you guys to death. Thank you.”

“I'm definitely not going and coaching somewhere else next year in the NBA,” Kerr told reporters after the game. “I would never walk away from Steph. But all this stuff has to be aligned and right, so those are all discussions that we’ll have.”

Curry told reporters that he wants Kerry to “be happy” and didn’t want to tell Kerr what to do, but “he knows how I feel about him.” The 12-time All-Star and two-time NBA MVP also said that he plans to continue playing beyond the 2026-27 season.
