Final Injury Report for Valkyries-Aces: Will Chennedy Carter, Jewell Loyd Play?
The Las Vegas Aces are at home Saturday afternoon as they host the Golden State Valkyries in a Western Conference showdown as part of the WNBA Commissioner's Cup.
Las Vegas enters Saturday's game with a 6-3 record after defeating the Los Angeles Sparks on the road Tuesday night.
In Tuesday's victory over the Sparks, A'ja Wilson led the way for the Aces as she recorded 25 points, 15 rebounds, three steals and five blocks while Jackie Young added 16 points, four rebounds and nine assists of her own.
The Aces will try to grab another victory and extend their winning streak to three games Saturday as they face off against the Valkyries in a tough home matchup.
Golden State enters Saturday's contest with a 6-4 record after losing on the road to the Minnesota Lynx Thursday night.
Cecilia Zandalasini led the way for the Valkyries in Thursday's loss as she ended the game with 18 points, three rebounds and three assists while Janelle Salaun recorded 17 points, five rebounds and three assists off the bench.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Saturday afternoon's matchup, each may be without multiple key players due to injuries.
Valkyries Injury Report
The Valkyries have three players listed on their injury report for Saturday's matchup in Las Vegas.
Golden State has ruled out Ashten Prechtel and Miela Sowah due to coach's decisions as they will elect to sit both to preserve their eligibility as developmental players.
The Valkyries have also ruled out Illiana Rupert as she will miss the entire season due to her pregnancy.

The Aces have three players listed on their injury report, including both Chennedy Carter and Jewell Loyd.
Las Vegas has ruled out Carter due to a left leg injury as she will miss her second consecutive contest.

The Aces have also ruled out Dana Evans as she remains sidelined to begin the season while recovering from a left leg injury.
Loyd has been listed as questionable with a left leg injury and there is a chance she could return from a two-game absence Saturday against the Valkyries.
