    Braverman, a junior, is currently the No. 1 hurdler in the state in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 38.25 seconds. He most recently beat his fourth-best mark in the 110 hurdles at the Oregon Relays on April 15 in Eugene. He ran a personal-best 14.24 to improve to third. Both of his hurdles times are the best in the 2A classification. He is a contender to be River Ridge's 50th individual track and field state champion - the program currently has 49.
