Stand-up comedian Tig Notaro will perform at the Washington Center for the Performing Arts in Olympia on Sept. 9 as part of her “Hello Again” tour.

Though well known for her deadpan humor, which has earned her two Grammy nominations, Notaro also is an actress, radio contributor and Emmy-nominated writer. She wrote and starred in Amazon’s “One Mississippi,” which she created with Diablo Cody and won a Critics Choice TV award.

She currently hosts two podcasts, and acts in both “Army of the Dead” and “Star Trek: Discovery.”

The show, “Hello Again,” is the comedian’s reintroduction to live stand-up after a pandemic-induced hiatus.

“I just thought, I’m gonna lay low, hang out with my family, do my podcasts, and then return if and when the time is right,” Notaro told The Boston Globe in 2022. “I’ve returned, and I’m not certain the time is right, but I’m doing it and people are buying tickets and showing up, so it feels good.”

Tickets for Notaro’s Olympia performance will go on sale to the public on Friday, July 7. Subscribers and Friends of the Washington Center will get pre-sale access at noon Thursday, July 6. Ticket prices start at $34.
