Is 1990s nostalgia a thing? The 20th century is 15 years in the rear view, so maybe it is.

Four chart topping bands from that decade — Sugar Ray, Better Than Ezra, Uncle Kracker and Eve 6 — are bringing their Under The Sun tour to the Emerald Queen Casino Saturday.

The concert celebrates the era when alternative pop rock was becoming a force to be reckoned with, what some might call its golden age.

This is the third round of Under The Sun.

“It’s that time of year, my friends,” said Sugar Ray frontman and Under The Sun co-founder Mark McGrath in a press release.

Aside from his success in Sugar Ray with hits “Someday,” “When It’s Over,” and number one hits “Fly” and “Every Morning,” McGrath has kept a high profile.

He’s become quite the TV personality including host of AXS TV’s interactive Grammy Prediction Special and truTV’s extreme singing competition series, “Killer Karaoke.” He’s a Donald Trump protégé, appearing on NBC’s “The Celebrity Apprentice” (Season 4) and he’s been on ABC’s “Wife Swap” among other shows.

And we can’t forget McGrath’s appearance in what could be the peak of any entertainer’s career: Syfy’s “Sharknado 2: The Second One.”
