These comedians are performing in Washington this spring and summer. Here’s what to know

It might not feel like it just yet, but winter is coming to an end, which means brighter and warmer days are upon us. It also means there will be more live shows to check out.

Maybe you’re looking to switch up your weekend routine to bring in the spring season. Why not get out and enjoy a comedy show?

Whether you’re a longtime fan of stand-up comedy or simply want to try something new, western Washington has scores of upcoming comedy shows throughout the Puget Sound region.

Big comedians such as Tina Fey, Amy Poehler and Jo Koy will be coming to town. Some up-and-coming comedians like Michael Blaustein and Ralph Barbosa also have dates booked in Washington state in the coming months.

Here is a list of comedians who will be performing live in Tacoma, Auburn and Seattle this spring and summer.

The Tacoma Comedy Club is the hub for all things stand-up comedy in Tacoma, and with two locations, the amount shows and open mics you can attend seem endless. If you don’t enjoy being in large venues, the Tacoma Comedy Club is the perfect place to sit back and enjoy some stand-up. Here are a few well-known comedians coming to the Tacoma Comedy Club this spring.

Pantages Theater

Pantages Theater, which opened in 1918 and was recently restored, seat a maximum of 1,273 people and hosts some of the biggest names in the performing arts and music. These are some comedians scheduled to perform here this spring or summer.

Muckleshoot Casino Resort

The Muckleshoot Casino Resort is the largest casino resort in the Evergreen State that offers thousands of slot machines, table games and a variety of dining options. The resort went through major expansion that added an events center in 2020 that now hosts concerts from big musicians and comedians.

Seattle

Climate Pledge Arena

Whether you’re a sports fan or a music fan in the Evergreen State, you are familiar with the Climate Pledge Arena. The indoor arena that was once home to the Seattle Supersonics, now hosts a variety of sporting, live music events and stand-up comedy shows for some of the biggest comedians in the world. Here are a couple of big comedians that will perform at the Climate Pledge Arena this spring and summer.

WAMU Theater

WAMU Theater is part of Lumen Field and is a much bigger venue that can seat 4,700 people and up to 9,000 standing people. WAMU Theater along with Lumen Field were voted the “best live music venue” and “best concert venue” in the 2023 Seattle Times “Best in The PNW” people’s choice contest.

Tina Fey & Amy Poehler: The Restless Leg Tour

Neptune Theatre

Neptune Theatre is a performing arts venue that seats 1,000 people and is located in the University District neighborhood in Seattle. This theater is managed by the non-profit Seattle Theatre Group and hosts all kinds of events including film screenings, dance performances and live music performances. Paramount Theatre

Paramount Theatre is located in downtown Seattle and seats 2,807 people. The theater, which is also managed by the non-profit Seattle Theatre Group, was placed on the National Register of Historic Places and has also been designated as a landmark in Seattle. Paramount Theatre hosts all kinds of events including Broadway musical theater, concerts, comedy, silent film and jazz. Here- After Comedy Club
