Dwayne Johnson Remembers Robin Williams as ‘Jumanji 4' Title Is Revealed

Dwayne Johnson is paying tribute to Robin Williams as he gears up for the release of the fourth "Jumanji" film.

At CinemaCon in Las Vegas on April 13, Johnson, 53, took the stage alongside costars Kevin Hart and Jack Black. The trio revealed the highly-anticipated movie's official title, "Jumanji: Open World," and gave fans a sneak peek at the film, which will be released on December 25.

Johnson also remembered original "Jumanji" star Williams, who died by suicide at age 63 in August 2014.

“This whole franchise would not have started or happened or kicked off in this really beautiful way without one man, and that’s Robin Williams,” Johnson said, per Entertainment Weekly.

Johnson said "every single scene" of the upcoming film features an Easter egg tribute to the late star - specifically, one half of the original “Jumanji” dice - adding, "Robin, as we like to say, this one's for you."

In November, the former WWE star posted a behind-the-scenes video from "Jumanji: Open World" on Instagram, showing the Easter egg for Williams.

“Little day one of ‘Jumanji’ excitement. That was cool,” Johnson shared at the time as he drove a golf cart on the Universal Studios and greeted fans taking a tour of the studio lot.

After acknowledging that it was "so good" to be back filming in Los Angeles, he showed his necklace with the dice from the 1995 film.

“As you see, a little easter egg for Dr. Bravestone. This is the dice from the original ‘Jumanji’ with Robin Williams, as a show of respect,” he explained. “And a way of honoring Robin and this entire franchise that he started as we film our very last ‘Jumanji’. Big finale. Here we go, let’s shoot!”

"Jumanji: Open World" will be released on December 25.
