Ritz Just Released An Exciting New Cracker – But It's Available Only For A Limited Time
This summer is shaping up to be quite a big year for both dedicated soccer fans and ordinary shoppers in U.S. supermarkets.
As fans prepare themselves for the upcoming FIFA World Cup this summer, snack producer Mondelez International is getting in on the coming festivities with a brand-new lineup of sweets and treats, including an eye-catching new cracker from Ritz.
According to a new press release from the company, Ritz will soon begin rolling out a new soccer-shaped cracker in time for the World Cup. To further tie into the theme, the new sporty shape will similarly feature star soccer player Christian Pulisic on the packaging.
Among the shapes featured inside the new limited-edition snacks are crackers made to resemble ordinary soccer balls and distinct soccer jerseys.
Retaining the signature crisp consistency of a classic Ritz cracker with fun-filled designs, it's a must-have snack for your next soccer watch party, as well as a treat you'll want to have on hand for the upcoming World Cup.
"National sporting occasions bring people together, and snacking is always at the center of the celebration," said Nick Rogers, director of portfolio marketing and sponsorship at Mondelez International. "From our Big Game, March Madness, college football, Inter Miami and Fanatics partnerships, to a summer packed full of soccer, Mondelez is building a playbook that puts our brands right where fans are watching, cheering and snacking."
Of course, Ritz isn't the only snack getting a soccer-themed makeover for the World Cup. Along with the iconic cracker brand, Mondelez revealed three new flavors of Chips Ahoy! will similarly debut this spring, including Chewy Chocolatey Churro, Chewy Dulce De Leche and Crunchy Red, White & Blue Candy Blasts.
Like the new Ritz Soccer Shapes, all three flavors of Chips Ahoy! will be available throughout the summer season at most major retail suppliers.
