Lisa Vanderpump's Reality TV Mount Rushmore Includes 3 Legendary Names
Lisa Vanderpump is making her case for her reality TV immortality-and she's including three other legends.
During a recent appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, the longtime Bravo star, 65, was asked who belongs on reality television's "Mount Rushmore". Naturally, her answers included a mix of reality TV royalty, including one choice that wasn't human.
"I've done four, five hundred episodes of reality television. Maybe I should be there?" Vanderpump joked, referring to her decades-long run in unscripted TV.
It's hard to argue with that! Vanderpump's résumé is hefty and impressive, first entering the reality scene on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. From there, she launched her own hit spinoff, Vanderpump Rules and appeared on competition and lifestyle series including Dancing with the Stars, Overserved with Lisa Vanderpump and Vanderpump Villa.
Of course, Vanderpump's reality TV Mount Rushmore didn't stop there.
Her next pick was Giggy (RIP), her tiny Pomeranian who became an unexpected Bravo icon during his years appearing alongside Vanderpump on Real Housewives and Vanderpump Rules.
"He was on many episodes, and he was beloved," she said of the pup, who died in 2020. The dog remains one of the most recognizable pets in reality TV history, often dressed in miniature outfits and frequently stealing scenes from the humans around him.
Vanderpump also gave a spot to Kim Kardashian, citing the reality superstar's undeniable influence on the genre.
Kardashian, 45, rose to fame on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, the massively successful family reality series that premiered in 2007 and helped redefine celebrity culture in the social media era. She has since expanded her reality TV empire with Hulu's The Kardashians while building businesses in fashion, beauty and shapewear.
For her final pick, Vanderpump chose longtime friend and fellow reality TV legend, Sharon Osbourne.
"My mate," she said of Osbourne, 73, who became a reality TV pioneer thanks to MTV's The Osbournes. The show followed her family's chaotic home life in the early 2000s and became one of the network's defining reality hits. Osbourne later built a second career as a television personality and host on shows including The Talk and America's Got Talent.
