Look: Sigourney Weaver honored at Hollywood hand and footprint ceremony
Sigourney Weaver was honored Friday at her TCL Chinese Theatre hand and footprint ceremony.
The actress, 76, known for her work in Alien, Ghostbusters, Avatar, and The Mandalorian and Grogu, was immortalized at the Hollywood landmark for her contributions to film.
James Cameron, who directed Weaver in the Alien sequel Aliens, and Pedro Pascal, who stars with her in the new movie The Mandalorian and Grogu, were on hand to celebrate the actress.
Jon Favreau, Bryan Fuller, Kathleen Kennedy, Dave Filoni and Alan Bergman also attended the ceremony.
The Mandalorian and Grogu, a sequel to the Disney+ series The Mandalorian, had its premiere at the TCL Chinese Theatre last week and will open in theaters Friday. The film is directed by Favreau and is set in the Star Wars universe.
Weaver also recently starred in the third Avatar movie, Avatar: Fire and Ash, and will be seen in Prime Video’s upcoming Tomb Raider series.
