Watch: 'Squid Game' star Jung Ho-yeon navigates alien invasion in 'Hope'

May 18 (UPI) -- Neon is giving a glimpse of the new film Hope.

The studio shared a teaser trailer for the movie Sunday following its premiere at the Cannes Film Festival, where it received a six-minute standing ovation.

Hope is a South Korean sci-fi thriller written, directed and produced by Na Hong-jin (The Wailing). Hwang Jung-min, Zo In-sung and Squid Game actress Jung Ho-yeon star as residents navigating an alien invasion.

The cast also includes Taylor Russell, Cameron Britton, Alicia Vikander and Michael Fassbender.

Hope premiered In Competition at Cannes and will open in theaters in the fall.
