‘Below Deck Down Under' Welcomes Familiar Bravo Faces in Another Surprise Crossover

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City aren't the only Below Deck Down Under crossover this season. If one of the latest charter guests looks familiar, it's because it's landscape artist James DeSantis, part of the team on the Bravo series Backyard Envy.

James and his boyfriendKai, along with their friends, are excited to embark on their luxury yacht vacation, but James needs to attend to some business beforehand. He calls Backyard Envy star Garrett Magee, who will also join them on the boat, to lock down some details on a landscaping project.

"I work for billionaires and really nitpicky clients. I've worked with Pamela Anderson, Zooey Deschanel, Neil Patrick Harris, Natasha Lyonne... my guys are over at her house today, actually," James shares. "And then we have this billionaire client's compound in Turks and Caicos on a private island," a project Garrett is handling.

While this group is unlikely to fight as much as the Housewives, drama is already starting thanks to Chef Ben Robinson and Chief Stew Daisy Kelliher.

Ben is serving filet of whole snapper for dinner and needs the servers to fillet the fish immediately before serving. Stunned, Daisy tells Ben there's no way they have enough people to make this happen. "There's absolutely no way that I can fillet eight fish at the same time," she explains in a confessional. "I don't have enough people, I don't have enough hands, I would need eight of me."

Thinking it's a Daisy problem, Ben moves forward with his plan, which ultimately leaves Captain Jason stepping in to help guests fillet some of the fish at the table. "It's just a bloody nightmare up here," Ben observes as Second Officer João Franco struggles to fillet a guest's fish. Meanwhile, Captain Jason still has to deliver a birthday cake to Garrett, but can they get past this fishy disaster?

Backyard Envy ran for two seasons (2019–2020) on Bravo and followed "Manscapers" James, Garrett, and Mel Brasier, who used creativity and ingenuity to transform outdoor spaces into magical oases.

Below Deck Down Under is on Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.
