KISS, the legendary rock band behind the anthems "Rock and Roll All Nite," teased fans with a major announcement

Showcasing its powerhouse legacy in music, the quartet officially confirmed a forthcoming special fan event scheduled in Germany, sparking excitement as they continue celebrating a historic career.

In an Instagram post, the band said that the exclusive gathering is a tribute to their first-ever German performance 50 years ago.

In an Instagram post, the band said that the exclusive gathering is a tribute to their first-ever German performance 50 years ago.

"CELEBRATING 50 YEARS OF KISS IN GERMANY WITH A SPECIAL FAN EVENT. Today marks 50 years since KISS took the stage for their first-ever show in Germany on May 18, 1976, at Rosengarten in Mannheim - a landmark moment in #KISSTORY."

Moreover, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee revealed that the event is set for October, hinting at more updates to come soon.

"THIS FALL, we're celebrating five decades of rock with a special KISS fan event in Germany. More details will be revealed soon, but this is one you won't want to miss!" the caption reads.

The comment section was filled with excitement as fans, especially their German supporters, were looking forward to seeing the iconic band again live.

"That's great for the German KISS fans!!!" one wrote.

"Wow, now we are waiting," a commenter said.

"I can't wait for more info," a follower added.

"Okay, now I'm hyped!" another echoed.

On the other hand, some were requesting that the band extend the show to other cities such as New York and London.

The highly anticipated special fan event of KISS in Germany is among their few performances since officially retiring from full-scale global touring after concluding their End of the Road world tour at Madison Square Garden in December 2023.

Despite this major move from the '70s rockers, the band continues to perform on selected special live shows.

This includes the three-day show they did in Las Vegas for the 50th anniversary celebration of the band's fan club, the KISS Army.

At that time, KISS did an "unmasked" performance, meaning that they didn't wear their signature Kabuki-inspired black-and-white face paint.

The lineup featured the founding members of the iconic band, Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, with their longtime band members Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer.

In addition, the band's former guitarist Bruce Kulick also made a surprise appearance during their electric set.
