What's next for 'Euphoria' stars Zendaya, Jacob Elordi

June 1 (UPI) --Euphoria came to a close Sunday after three seasons on HBO.

The final episode of the drama series created by Sam Levinson concluded the stories of Rue Bennett (Zendaya), Maddy Perez (Alexa Demie), Cassie Jacobs (Sydney Sweeney) and Jules Vaughn (Hunter Schafer) following Nate Jacobs' (Jacob Elordi) exit in the penultimate episode.

Levinson confirmed in an interview with The New York Times that Season 3 was the show's last. With Euphoria done, here's where to watch Zendaya, Elordi and other cast members next.

'The Odyssey'

Zendaya plays the goddess Athena in Christopher Nolan's star-studded film adaptation of Homer's ancient Greek epic.

Matt Damon stars as Odysseus, the Greek king of Ithaca who embarks on an epic journey home to his wife Penelope (Anne Hathaway) after the Trojan War.

The cast also includes Tom Holland, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong'o and Charlize Theron.

The Odyssey opens in theaters July 17.

'Spider-Man: Brand New Day'

Zendaya returns as Michelle "MJ" Jones-Watson in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the fourth film starring her real-life partner Tom Holland as Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man.

In a trailer released in March, Peter (Holland) was seen struggling to adjust to the world no longer remembering who he is after the events of No Way Home. Even his girlfriend MJ and best friend Ned (Jacob Batalon) have forgotten him.

Jon Bernthal, Mark Ruffalo and Michael Mando also star in the new Marvel Cinematic Universe film.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day opens in theaters July 31.

'Dune: Part Three'

Zendaya will reprise her role of Chani in the third and final film in Denis Villeneuve's trilogy inspired by the Frank Herbert book series.

Based on Herbert's Dune Messiah, the movie continues the story of Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet), a young nobleman who learns he is a fabled prophet destined to lead the Fremen people on the desert planet Arrakis.

In a teaser trailer released in March, a scene of Paul and Chani peacefully discussing the name of their future child is juxtaposed with footage of Paul's devastating war.

Jason Momoa, Josh Brolin, Florence Pugh, Rebecca Ferguson, Anya Taylor-Joy, Robert Pattinson and Javier Bardem also star.

Dune: Part Three opens in theaters Dec. 18.

'The Dog Stars'

Ridley Scott (Gladiator) directs Jacob Elordi, Josh Brolin and Margaret Qualley in the new film based on the Peter Heller novel.

Elordi stars as Hig, a pilot navigating a post-apocalyptic world after a deadly flu virus. Hig is accompanied by his dog Jasper, the ex-Marine Bangley (Brolin) and the medic Cima (Qualley).

The cast also includes Allison Janney, Guy Pearce and Benedict Wong.

The Dog Stars opens in theaters Aug. 28.

'Cry to Heaven'

Hunter Schafer stars in the film adaptation of the Anne Rice novel set in 18th-century Italy.

Hailing from fashion designer and Nocturnal Animals director Tom Ford, the movie follows Guido Maffeo, a castrato from a poor family, and Tonio Treschi, a young nobleman who unexpectedly enters Guido's world of Italian opera.

The star-studded cast also includes Nicholas Hoult, Adele, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ciaran hinds, George MacKay, Mark Strong, Colin Firth, Paul Bettany, Owen Cooper and Thandiwe Newton.

Cry to Heaven is expected to release in late 2026, according to Deadline. The movie will mark Grammy-winning singer Adele's film debut.

'The Housemaid's Secret'

Sydney Sweeney returns as Millie Calloway in the sequel to Freida McFadden's bestselling novel The Housemaid.

The new film continues the story of Millie, a young woman who became a live-in maid for a seemingly perfect couple (Amanda Seyfried, Brandon Sklenar) with a dark secret in the original movie.

Michele Morrone will reprise his role of Enzo, with Kirsten Dunst to join the cast.

Rebecca Sonnenshine and Paul Feig return to write and direct the sequel, respectively.

The Housemaid's Secret is expected to open in theaters Dec. 17, 2027.

'Disclosure Day'

Colman Domingo, who played Ali Muhammad on Euphoria, has a starring role in the new sci-fi film directed by Steven Spielberg (Close Encounters of the Third Kind).

Emily Blunt, Josh O'Connor, Colin Firth and Eve Hewson also star in the movie, which centers on a massive government conspiracy about aliens.

Spielberg appeared in a final trailer for the film released last week that sees him discuss the possibility of alien life.

Disclosure Day opens in theaters June 12.

'Poetic License'

Martha Kelly, who portrayed Laurie on Euphoria, will have a softer turn in the new comedy directed by Maude Apatow, who played Lexi Howard on the show. The film marks Apatow's directorial debut.
