JoJo Siwa Develops 'Gnarly' Eye Infection Just Days After Being Thrown From Her Golf Cart

JoJo Siwa sparked concern among her fans over the last few days after showing off a "gnarly eye infection" that was incredibly poorly timed following an accident on her golf cart, but in a new health update she says she's headed in the right direction.

The performer took to TikTok earlier today, June 1, to have a little chat with her followers about what's been going on, pulling away her black eye patch to show what's been brewing-a red, swollen, watery eye that she said is actually looking far better than it has been.

JoJo Siwa has had an unfortunate string of bad health luck over the last few weeks.

Still, "Things aren't going too well," the Dance Moms alum admitted, calling it "a very long week."

On top of whatever is going on with her eye, she's also suffering from a concussion after a "scary{ golf cart incident where she was thrown from the driver's seat after a malfunction sent the cart careening around "in fast circles" that caused her to land on her neck, hit her head, and flip over.

Just a few days later, the eye issue popped up. Luckily, her doctors think it's unrelated, but she's on bed rest for at least a few more days due to the concussion, and is unsure how long it might take her eye to heal.

Her "glorious injuries" have also delayed rehearsals for her upcoming JoJo cruise.

It's been a very long week, I fell off the golf cart last Monday. With rest, my concussion has been recovering well. No where near 100%, but on a good track. My eye however, is taking longer than expected to come around. I have a lovely team of doctors keeping a very close eye on me as I now am going to be back in rehearsals starting tomorrow. It's definitely a bit early to be going back into everything, and I have to be very careful of not being 100% recovered… but the Greatest saying in Hollywood, which I'm realizing to be true, the show must go on. If you see me with sunglasses on, just know, I'm not being a drama diva, just taking care of my eye giving it a bit of relief😎 the patch I found after a few days to be a bit difficult with the concussion recovery so only wear it now if I need a complete light break! Thank you for the lovely messages, I've been down the last few days dealing with this and feeling a little bit bummed but I've seen lots online that has made me smile so thank you for that 🤍

Her attitude about the whole thing sets a brilliant example.

But, she's being an impressive sport about the whole thing. "The good news about the accident is I'm really lucky how I ended up," she added. "I could have been seriously, seriously injured. As unlucky as I am that it happened, I'm very lucky with how I came out of it."

Fans flooded the comments with support, praising her positive attitude and sending prayers for her healing.

"Hope you feel better soon, you're a trooper and will always bounce back like always!" one assured her. "Take it easy and take care of YOU 🤍✨."

"🥺 Hope it heals up fast," someone else wrote, with another adding that they're "Praying for a quick recovery 🙏🤍🙏."

"So glad you're on the mend!!" another commented.

The dancer previously alluded to the golf cart incident when she first showed off her eye late last week, though she downplayed it as having simply fallen off of it while waiting to find out if she was concussed or not.
