Taylor Swift Admits She's Inspired by This Beatles Member, Calling Him ‘Eternally Exceptional'
Taylor Swift recently showed love for one of the members of The Beatles. On June 2, she re-shared one of Paul McCartney's Instagram posts about his new album. He stated, "My new album 'The Boys of Dungeon Lane' will be yours 29th May. The album title comes from a lyric in the track 'Days We Left Behind'. I was thinking just that, about the days I left behind and I do often wonder if I'm just writing about the past but then I think how can you write about anything else?"
Swift shared this post and added the caption, "Never not inspired by this eternally exceptional artist." She added a flexed bicep emoji at the end.

This isn't the first time Swift and McCartney have shown their love for one another. McCartney attended the Eras Tour in London in 2024. He also recently spoke about Swift in an interview with BBC Sounds, discussing the level of fame that they have both experienced throughout their careers.
"You do see the parallel, you know the fame and the amount of fame, the worldwide fame that Taylor Swift has and that we had," he said. "But I don't think she needs any advice, to tell you the truth." He continued, "I'm like the older brother to that generation. Or more like the grandad, actually."
McCartney's new album, The Boys of Dungeon Lane, is now available. A review by Pitchfork said: "McCartney didn't really even have to try here. Beatles fans will flip for the very idea of songs like ‘Down South,' about hitchhiking with George Harrison; and ‘Home to Us,' a duet with Ringo Starr."
When speaking about the creation of this album, McCartney told NME about how much he still enjoys the process of making new music. "It's still a great achievement to sit down with, let's say, my guitar and there's nothing there, and I'm just noodling around, and suddenly, maybe after three or four hours, I've got a song," he said. "I know how it goes, and I've written the lyrics down, and it's a real achievement. That still is a magic feeling for me. I think that's the creative buzz still, and hopefully always will be."
