WWE 2K26 Patch 1.12 Fixes MyFACTION Crashes, Universe Bugs, And Entrance Issues As Season 3 Goes Live

WWE 2K26 Patch 1.12 is live on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2, arriving June 3 alongside the launch of Ringside Pass Season 3. It's not the sprawling overhaul that 1.07 or 1.10 were, but it's a targeted and necessary cleanup across MyFACTION, Universe Mode, and Cutscenes, and it comes packaged with the season's biggest content additions.

Here's what the community was reporting, what got fixed, and what's still sitting in the queue.

What's New in Patch 1.12

The headliner is The Island, which kicks off Chapter 2 with the arrival of The Order of Malice, a new faction threatening the existing order and pushing the mode's story forward with new quests and matches. Season 3 also adds a fresh Ranks ladder and Leaderboards rotation, plus a Money in the Bank Event Tower featuring Dominik Mysterio. New shop items and bundles round out the content side.

On the Ringside Pass front, Season 3 brings four newly added superstars to the roster via new cutscenes and entrances: La Parka and Torrie Wilson join the WWE 2K roster for the first time, while Matt Cardona and Brian Pillman make their returns to the series. Four new themes also land in Create-An-Entrance: Kane's 2000 theme, AJ Styles' Lone Wolf theme, Kane '01's Slow Chemical, and Rey Mysterio Jr. '01's Borders. Fixes: MyFACTION

MyFACTION gets the most targeted attention in this patch, addressing a cluster of bugs that had been circulating in community reports over the past few weeks.

The most disruptive was a crash that could occur when accepting an online lobby invite on the VS screen, the kind of thing that kills momentum right before a multiplayer match and had been flagged repeatedly. That's fixed. Players were also being booted to the Main Menu after equipping a side plate, which is addressed here.

On the gameplay side, Superstars were freezing mid-grapple when a run-in triggered during a MyFACTION match. This is a separate instance from the general run-in freeze that was patched back in 1.07, specifically surfacing in MyFACTION's match context. Fixed. The Quick Breather badge also gets another pass: it failed to activate during automatic rollouts specifically, even after the general activation fix that shipped in 1.10. It's worth noting this badge has now been patched twice, which may indicate lingering edge cases are still lurking.

Two UI issues round out the MyFACTION section: the green card requirement check not appearing for cards in a player's collection but not in their current Live Event lineup, and the Pack Market Recommended page resetting to page one after every purchase. Both were consistently reported and consistently annoying. Both are fixed.

Fixes: Universe Mode

Universe continues to get incremental attention after the massive overhaul it received in 1.07 and the follow-up work in 1.10. The 1.12 fixes are smaller in scope but address some specific logic errors that players had been hitting in regular play.

The MITB Distraction rivalry action was incorrectly converting non-title matches into championship matches, the kind of bug that silently rewrites your storylines and only reveals itself mid-show. Fixed. Tag team superstar names were also displaying incorrectly in Rivalry Action News, which made the mode's news feed harder to follow. Fixed.

Two more: Royal Rumble eliminations made using the top rope mini-game weren't being counted in elimination statistics, and the Rivalry Results screen wasn't appearing after completing a brawl match with the "Partner Chaos in the Ring" rivalry action. Both are resolved. General managers also now properly use their entrance attire for draft scenes, which had been an immersion-breaking visual inconsistency.

Fixes: Cutscenes and Entrances

Entrances and cutscenes have had a fix section in every patch since launch. It's been one of the game's more persistent problem areas, where one fix tends to expose another. Patch 1.12 continues that cadence with another round of targeted repairs.

Entrances not loading properly, the Director camera clipping into superstars, weapon floating and warping during victory celebrations, props misaligned during cutscenes, and facial animations not triggering during some tag team entrances are all addressed. The four new entrances for the Season 3 Ringside Pass additions (La Parka, Matt Cardona, Torrie Wilson, and Brian Pillman) also ship with this patch.

What's Still Not Fixed

Patch 1.12 is a lean update, and some recurring issues remain unaddressed.

The Xbox Series X|S freeze and stutter issue has been a community complaint since before the game's full launch in March. General stability improvements are listed in every patch, but there's been no specific callout for this platform-level performance problem despite it being among the most upvoted bugs in the WWE 2K26 Live Issues tracker.

Entrance and cutscene bugs continue to resurface patch after patch. This one closes several more, but given the pattern across 1.08 through 1.12, it's reasonable to expect the next patch will include more of the same. The category doesn't appear to be fully under control.

The Quick Breather badge has also been patched twice already, and we're going to see if this issue still persists despite the changes. If a badge fix requires a follow-up pass specifically for automatic rollouts, there may be more scenario-specific failure cases still out there.
