Taylor Swift, Beyoncé and Rihanna Make ‘Forbes' Tally of Richest Self-Made Women

Congratulations are in order for Beyoncé. For the first time ever, the musician and entrepreneur has made Forbes magazine’s list of America’s Richest Self-Made Women.

Forbes released their tally on Wednesday, June 3, and that’s where Beyoncé made her debut. So, what made 2025 a bigger win for Beyoncé financially than previous years?

According to research from the outlet, the difference was her 2025 Cowboy Carter tour, which grossed more than $450 million in ticket sales and merchandise. It was simply a blockbuster tour, and it’s great for Beyoncé fans to know that they helped push her over the edge to making the cut.

On the tally, Beyoncé is tied with a handful of other women for No. 39 out of 43 women. As for female musicians, pop star Taylor Swift comes in at the highest at No. 23 with an estimated net worth of a whopping $2 billion. So, where does Swift get her wealth? The majority of it comes from her music, touring and music catalog, which is worth around $600 million. She also has a real estate portfolio worth $110 million.

There’s only one other musician on the tally, and that’s Rihanna, who is also No. 39 on the tally with an estimated net worth of $1 billion. What’s interesting about Rihanna is that most of her wealth doesn’t come from music. She’s banked on her cosmetics line, Fenty Beauty, and her Savage X Fenty lingerie line. It’s interesting to see how these ladies have all made their wealth, but Rihanna stands out, because she used her brand to pivot to something new.
