Who is Colin Firth's Ex-Wife, Livia Giuggioli?

While Firth has found love with Perbola, he's on great terms with his former wife, Livia Giuggioli. The duo, who married in 1997, split in 2019 and have two sons, Luca and Mateo. In fact, Firth is even friends with Giuggioli's new partner, Scottish climate activist Callum Griev.

"We're always together," Livia told the UK's Times back in February. "Colin and I have a wonderful relationship. We have worked on that a lot, and in keeping the family together. I have a partner; he has a partner and we're all together all the time. It's an extended, crazy family."

However, Giuggioli doesn't miss the bright lights of Hollywood.

"Colin is very private, so we always separated public life from our life," Giuggioli added. "When you take that approach, you become like an avatar. You go there, you do it, you call your mum to say you saw George Clooney … but your real life has nothing to do with that. So when you don't have it anymore, it's actually much nicer, because it was never you in the first place."

What's Next for Colin Firth?

Back in April, Variety reported that Firth would join Florence Hunt and Isla Fisher in Bare, the feature directorial debut of writer/director Lorna Tucker. The story, which is based on Tucker's memoir of the same name, is set in London and follows a young runaway, played by Hunt, who "finds her tribe amidst the darkness and begins to reclaim her sense of self."
