Season 2 of Luke Grimes' 'Marshals' is now filming

June 9 (UPI) -- Production has begun in Park City, Utah, on Season 2 of the Yellowstone spin-off Marshals, CBS announced Monday.

The action-drama follows Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes) as he goes to work for the U.S. Marshals service after selling the sprawling Montana cattle ranch that his family has owned for nearly 150 years.

The show stars Grimes' former Yellowstone cast-mates Brecken Merrill, Gil Birmingham and Mo Brings Plenty, who reprise their characters of Tate Dutton, Thomas Rainwater and Mo.

Logan Marshall-Green, Arielle Kebbel, Ash Santos and Tatanka Means play Kayce's fellow Marshals.
