Singer Oliver Tree, 32, killed in helicopter crash

June 14 (UPI) -- Singer, songwriter and producer Oliver Tree was killed in a helicopter crash in Brazil Sunday. He was 32.

The Civil Police of Rio de Janeiro told CNN Brazil that Tree was one of six people who died in the collision of two helicopters over an electric vehicle yard.

Variety said Tree's representatives did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

TMZ said the cause of the crash is under investigation.

Tree had been in the country for a stop on his world concert tour.

He is known for his songs "When I'm Down," "Life Goes On" and "Miss You."
