1st Responders Day celebration: Three Lacey Lions Clubs – Sunrise, Mid Day, and Lamplighters -- will honor local police and fire members with a celebration beginning at 10 a.m., at the Thurston County Sheriff’s station in Tumwater, at 7721 New Market St SW; at 11 a.m., at the Lacey Police Dept., 420 College St. SE; and at noon, at Lacey Fire District #3, 1231 Franz St. SE. There will be cakes, chili and proclamations from Gov. Inslee.
