SPSCC’s annual Jazz Series kicks off Friday (Sept. 25) with the music of the Gonzalo Bergara Quartet. The acoustic group plays a modern style of 1930s Django Reinhardt-inspired gypsy jazz. See them in the 7:30 p.m. performance at the Minnaert Center Black Box, 2011 Mottman Road SW, Olympia. The evening will include a wine tasting for guests 21 and older. Olympia’s own TUSH is back with its second “Cabaret Derriere,” a one-night-only show of sexy surrealism. Joining them will be special guest Joel Myers in a late-summer fun romp at the Obsidian, 414 Fourth Ave. E., Olympia. There are two shows — 7 and 10 p.m. — Saturday, with tickets at $20 or $25 VIP. Make it a day of rEvolution at the Olympia: rEvolve. A human shift taking place Saturday at Millersylvania State Park, 12245 Tilley Road SW, Olympia. Celebrating a healthy turn in lifestyle attitudes, gleaning from our more primal ancestors, the one-day festival will include food preparation, outdoor survival skills, minimalist athletics and recreation, holistic medicine, homesteading and more. Bring your own food; grills are available and come to listen, learn, teach and of course rEvolve. It is 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and is free to the public.

Join Lattin’s Country Cider Mill and Farm in celebrating the apple harvest at its annual Apple Festival this weekend. Enjoy the sweet aroma of fresh apples, bluegrass music, petting arm, pony rides, bobbing for apples and apple fritters. Pick your own pumpkins, taste and buy fresh award-winning cider, and jump into the fall season with both feet. Together for 26 years, the Righteous Mothers are four funny and philosophical female folk-rock musicians who bring zany original music and witty theatrics to their performance. With tongue in cheek, they sing about ice cream, labor pains, dreams and Supreme Court decisions for a fun evening of music. It’s going to be a night of musical fun when the Sweet Adelines bring “Million Dollar Question: Game of Tones” to the stage. The romp about a wacky TV game show will have the group portraying goofy contestants and their antics accompanied by the group’s classic harmonies.
