Student Orchestras of Greater Olympia (SOGO), will take the stage this weekend for their spring concert, featuring Morgan Hurtado and Brynna Paros, who will perform Doppler’s ‘Andante and Rondo for Two Flutes,’ with the Conservatory, Borodin’s popular ‘Polovetsian Dances,’ brass choir surround sound, and a dash of West Side Story.

During intermission SOGO will present a silent auction that will include unusual items such as a violin lamp and musical flowers — a floral arrangement made from sheet music by SOGO musicians.

The orchestra’s final performance of the season kicks off at 4 p.m. Sunday, at the Washington Center for the Performing Arts, 512 Washington St., Olympia.

Tickets are available online at Olytix.org.
