Who Won ‘The Voice’ Season 27? Spring 2025 Winner and Their Coach Revealed in Epic Finale

The Voice season 27 has crowned its winner! After two hours of musical performances and special guest appearances during the finale on May 20, 2025, host Carson Daly called the top 5 artists to the stage to read America's voting results from the previous night. Life & Style breaks down who won the season and more.

Who Won ‘The Voice' Season 27?

Team Michael Bublé's Adam David received the most votes from viewers and was named the winner of The Voice season 27. Team Kelsea Ballerini's Jaelen Johnston was the runner-up, followed by Team John Legend's Renzo in third place. Team Adam Levine's Lucia Flores-Wiseman came in fourth place, while Team Bublé's Jadyn Cree came in fifth place.

This victory marks Michael's second win in a row as a coach. He will return for his third consecutive season in the fall of 2025.

Who Is ‘The Voice' Winner Adam David?

Adam was born and raised in South Florida and began playing guitar at 8 years old. As he developed his love of music, he began writing his own songs and singing.

"I think at that point I was just, I was just writing for me. I was very angsty, like I'm angry at my mom type stuff, but I wrote all the time," he told Deepest Dream in May 2025. "I loved the feeling of the puzzle of finding the right words of what I was trying to say."

Years before joining The Voice, in 2014, Adam even released a four-song EP, aptly titled EP, Vol. 1.

Adam began struggling with addiction and leaned on music to help get him through his recovery. In his NBC bio, he revealed that he was five years sober and now performed weekly at rehabilitation centers "using his own experiences and music to inspire others in their recovery."

The musician auditioned for The Voice with a cover of Peter Frampton‘s "Baby, I Love Your Way." Michael was the only coach to turn his chair, telling Adam, You have a character voice. You have absolute control … The whole song, you are perfect. I hope that I will bring you as much joy as you're going to bring me every single time we work together and I hear you sing."

Later in the season, Adam was nearly eliminated from the top 12. However, he received America's Instant Save vote to give him the final spot in the top 5.

Michael Buble Says He Had ‘Nothing to Do' With Adam David's Win

After the finale, Michael gushed about Adam in an interview with Parade.

"I am going to tell you right now, I have nothing to do with it," the coach said of his role in Adam's win. "Zero. We're friends. I'm not his coach; I'm not his teacher. He's a killer musician. He knows exactly what he's doing. He has all the talent and ambition in the world. I think more than anything, he needed a partner, a friend to help sometimes lift him up when he was having doubts."

Michael also gave credit to American viewers for giving Adam their votes.

"America has great taste," he said. "They really do. America is who gave us this music. They're the ones who culturally gave us the greatest gifts in not only music but cinema and art. And the fact that they can recognize what I heard in that turn just gives me deeper faith in them and how good they are, how smart they are, how much integrity came with every one of those votes. The thing that I am tripping out about more than anything is knowing how important those people feel about their vote. It's not thrown away. It gives you confidence in your own taste."
