Get ready for a music-filled Memorial Day because the 2025 American Music Awards are back, and they're bigger than ever. After the success of last year's record-breaking 50th anniversary special, the fan-favorite award show returns with an all-new location, a stacked lineup of performers, and some major firsts you won't want to miss.
Hosted by Jennifer Lopez, the 51st AMAs will air live coast to coast on Monday, May 26, at 8:00 PM ET / 5:00 PM PT on CBS and will also stream live in the U.S. on Paramount+.

Who's Performing at the 2025 AMAs?
Jennifer is pulling double duty as this year's host and one of the night's featured performers. But she's far from the only one lighting up the stage.
The night will also include performances by some of music's biggest names, including Rod Stewart, who's receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award, plus Janet Jackson, who will be honored with the prestigious ICON Award. The 11-time AMA winner is returning to the stage for her first televised performance since 2018.
Other performers include Gwen Stefani,Gloria Estefan, Blake Shelton, Benson Boone, Lainey Wilson and Reneé Rapp, with even more artists to be announced.
The 2025 AMAs Will Feature a Star-Studded Tribute to the Troops
In honor of Memorial Day, the AMAs are partnering with the Las Vegas-based nonprofit Easy Day Foundation to spotlight veterans and active-duty service members. The show, taking place during Military Appreciation Month, will feature two moving performances and a special award honoring a celebrity who uses their platform to support the veteran community. Expect to see heartfelt stories woven into the show that shine a light on service, sacrifice, and resilience.
Special Appearances and Presenters at the 2025 AMAs
The AMAs are known for their epic guest list, and this year is no exception. Presenters and special guests include Ciara, Tiffany Haddish, Cara Delevingne, Alix Earle, Dan + Shay, Kai Cenat, Dylan Efron, Wayne Brady, Shaboozey and more.
And if you're wondering who's taking home the top honors, Kendrick Lamar leads with ten nominations, followed by Post Malone, Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan and Shaboozey. While fan voting has closed for most categories, the polls remain open for Collaboration of the Year and Social Song of the Year during the first 30 minutes of the live show at VoteAMAs.com.

This year's show will broadcast live from the brand-new Fontainebleau Las Vegas, a luxury resort setting the stage for a glamorous, high-energy night that's equal parts concert and celebration. Tickets to the star-studded show are available now on Ticketmaster.
