Jersey Shore’s JWoww Shares Engagement Update, Admits Having Mixed Feelings About a Wedding

Jersey Shorestar Jenni "JWoww" Farley shares an update about her engagement to fiancé Zack Clayton Carpinello and opens up about her hesitations to plan a wedding during an exclusive interview with Life & Style.

"I keep going back to we don't have kids, we don't have shared bank accounts. We don't have anything that complicates it," Jenni, 40, explains why she and Zack, 30, haven't planned their wedding yet. "I feel like you should get married when it comes to children, finances. So to me, I just want, like, a perfect partnership."

While Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi says that she wants Jenni and Zack to get married so that they can throw a "party," Jenni adds that she still "might give" her friend "the celebration one day."

"You don't even have to get married," Nicole, 37, tells Jenni. "Let's have a celebration of you, of your relationship. That's all I want."

Jenni goes on to explain that she's happy with where she and Zack currently are in their relationship, adding that she doesn't "wanna jinx" it by getting married.

"I hate all eyes on me. So that's the other big part of it," Jenni adds of why she might not want to have a wedding. "I am so introverted."

However, Nicole points out that Jenni "always says" that she hates being the center of attention. "And then she gets up there and she freaking kills it," she says.

Jenni and Zack were friends for years before their relationship turned romantic. After Jenni filed for divorce from ex-husband Roger Matthews after nearly three years of marriage in September 2018, she revealed her romance with Zack seven months later during an episode of the "It's Happening With Snooki & Joey" podcast.

The pair briefly split in 2019 after he was caught flirting with costar Angelina Pivarnick, though they got back together months later. Zack eventually proposed to Jenni in February 2021 during a romantic outing on the top of the Empire State Building.

After Zack popped the question, Jenni spoke to In Touch about how her kids, Meilani, 10, and Greyson, 9, reacted to the engagement.

"I'll be honest. Greyson doesn't really understand it," Jenni told the outlet at the time. "So he just thinks that Zack is like my best friend and his best friend, and nothing really changed."

She said that Meilani did "understand" her engagement "a little bit more," though recalled her daughter asking her, "‘Is anything like going to change or be different?' And I explained to her, ‘No.' So she just thinks she's looking forward to a big party."

Jenni also praised Zack for helping take care of her kids during the interview. "He understands that obviously that they have a father, so he just tries to be their best friend," she explained. "He really steps up, and … we're just 50-50 in the house."
