Who Went Home This Week on NBC’s ‘Destination X’? Every Season 1 Elimination So Far

Destination X turns all of Europe into a "real-life game board" as a group of strangers go on the trip of a lifetime in their quest to win $250,000. All they have to do is answer one question: where the X am I?

NBC's all new reality competition series kicked off its second episode on June 3, 2025, and host Jeffrey Dean Morgan revealed the show's second elimination! In Touch shares who went home this week.

Jonah Evarts While some players were focused on forming strategic alliances and backstabbing the ones that they felt were threats, English teacher Jonah Evarts struggled with the stress of the game and the guilt he felt from potentially sending fellow contestants to the map room. His sweet nature was ultimately his downfall. Panicked and not knowing where in the world they were, he believed that Ally Bross was extending an olive branch of friendship when she told him that they were in Bern, Switzerland, even though she fully believed that they were in Geneva. He placed his X in the map room and was eliminated. "I've gotta say that it's strangely fitting that the most peaceful person on that bus is leaving here in Switzerland, land of peace and neutrality," Jeffrey told him as Jonah exited the Destination X bus for the last time and headed home. Josh Martinez Josh Martinez seemingly had an upper hand in the competition due to being the winner of Big Brother 19 and a participant in several seasons of The Challenge, but he was the first contestant to leave the bus on Destination X. After coming out victorious in their second challenge, fellow contestant Mack Fitzgerald chose Josh to be one of the five players to enter the map room and place his X. While he said his team had been sold on the idea that they were in Rome, Italy, Rick Szabo pulled him aside at the last minute and told him he was "pretty sure" they were in Milan. However, after Josh placed his X, he found out that he was the furthest from their actual destination, ending his brief stint on the show. Before he left, he offered the other competitors an ominous warning. "Be careful, trust your gut," he said. "Whatever you do, do not trust a single word that Rick is saying. Rick is a snake. Watch your back with him." Danny Ventrella/NBC
