Jersey Shore’s JWoww and Snooki Reveal They Won’t Share Parenting Advice With Sammi Amid 1st Pregnancy
Jersey Shore stars Jenni "JWoww" Farley and Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi open about about sharing parenting advice with costar Sam "Sammi Sweetheart" Giancola amid her pregnancy with baby No. 1 during an exclusive interview with Life & Style.
"We always say, like, we don't want to give unsolicited advice," Jenni, 40, tells Life & Style while promoting season 8 of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. "I hated that when I was pregnant and had children."
Nicole, 37, agrees with Jenni's stance on not sharing unsolicited advice, while they both say they're happy to share insight with Sammi, 38, if she ever comes to them with questions.
"So when you need something, we will be there for you," Jenni says.
Meanwhile, costar Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino shares his parenting advice for Sammi and her fiancé, Justin May, while exclusively speaking with Life & Style.
"Hold on. It's a ride and it goes by fast. But it's the best ride you'll ever be on and it's the hardest job you'll ever do," Mike, 42, says. "But it's the most rewarding one. Being a parent for me, it feels like I've found my purpose in life."
Jenni shares kids Meilani, 10, and Greyson, 9, with ex-husband Roger Mathews, while Nicole is the mother to kids Lorenzo, 11, Giovanna, 9, and Angelo, 4, with husband Jionni LaValle. Meanwhile, Mike shares kids Romeo, 2, Mia Bella, 22 months, and Luna Lucia, 10 months, with his wife, Lauren Sorrentino.
Sammi announced that she and Justin are expecting their first child together in February, revealing that she's due in August.
"After struggling through years of infertility, this is the absolute greatest blessing we could ever possibly ask for!" she wrote via Instagram at the time. "We are so thrilled to finally be able to share the news of our little miracle with you all! Our hearts have never been so full of love, we can't wait to meet you baby!"
Three months later, Sammi and Justin revealed the sex of their baby. The couple had a gender reveal at Seaside Boardwalk with the rest of her Jersey Shore: Family Vacation cast mates, where everyone learned that the couple is expecting a boy.
"It's just so iconic because me and my roommates, we've basically grew up here in Seaside and also me and Justin met here in Seaside," Sammi told People about the gender reveal. "It's just very sentimental, meaningful all around."
While she said she "had a feeling" that they were expecting a boy, Sammi said that she and Justin are "just happy to have a healthy baby." She continued, "We didn't care about gender at all, but we kind of had a feeling what it was."
Prior to her pregnancy announcement, Sammi exclusively spoke to Life & Style about why she wanted to open up about her IVF journey on the show. "I couldn't hide it. It was like, I just came back to the show, but I'm going through this and it was like, I don't wanna leave the show again and step back from it when I just came back," she said in September 2024. "So it was actually a really hard decision to make."
"But I've learned through this whole process that by talking about it more, it makes it a little bit more easier to go through," she continued. "Maybe [it] will help other people relate or maybe somebody else is going through a similar situation."
