Rock n’ roll legend Bon Jovi announced Wednesday a tour this year that will kick off in Tacoma.

The Bon Jovi 2020 Tour starts June 10 at the Tacoma Dome and wraps up July 28 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Jan. 24 at ticketmaster.com.

Bryan Adams will perform as the opener.

“One can count on one hand the number of rock bands that broke out in the 1980’s that are still successfully touring today, but doing so with fresh, new music that retains the authenticity - that is at the heart of the best in rock ‘n’ roll,” Pollstar magazine said about Bon Jovi.

Bon Jovi is set to release its 15th album later this year by Island Records.

Those who buy tickets to one of the band’s concerts this year will get a CD copy of “Bon Jovi 2020.”
